Dr. med. Thomas Franke – Your expert at your side

Dr. med. Thomas Franke is a licensed physician and dentist as well as a specialist for oral and maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Franke has many years of experience and extensive interdisciplinary knowledge, which he skilfully combines and combines into a holistic treatment approach.

He follows the biological treatment approach and the involvement of the entire organism out of conviction and through years of experience. His passion is, among other things, precision work during surgical procedures.

Dr. Franke began studying dentistry in 1996 and completed his medical studies at the Christian-Albrechts-University of Kiel and the Leopold-Franzens-University of Innsbruck in 2004.

During his studies, he regularly completed clinical internships at the Clinic for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery under Prof. Dr. Dr. F. Härle in Kiel, where he was allowed to assist in oral surgery, among other things. Surgery in which, for example, a lower jaw bone was reconstructed from the body’s own fibula, inspired him from the very beginning. In addition to his studies of human medicine, he also studied dentistry in order to complete his specialist training as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon.

Afterwards he worked for two years at the Malteser Hospital Flensburg in the clinic for general, accident, vascular and thoracic surgery. In 2006, Dr. Franke received his doctorate and then worked as a physician in further training in the Clinic for Ear, Nose and Throat Medicine at the Trauma Hospital in Berlin.

From 2008 to 2009, he worked as a physician in further training in the trauma surgery/orthopedic practice of Dr. Wiemer in Berlin.

From 2009 to 2012 Dr. Franke finally worked as a research assistant in the Clinic for Oral and Maxillofacial Plastic Surgery at the Charité in Berlin and from 2013 to 2015 he worked at the Clinic for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Ruppiner Kliniken in Neuruppin.

Since 2015 he has been self-employed with his own practice for maxillofacial surgery in Berlin, which was moved to Charlottenburg in 2017. There, he is very successful in helping his patients to improve their well-being and health.

During his career, Dr. Franke has acquired a great deal of interdisciplinary knowledge, which he continues to expand today. This extensive range of knowledge and interdisciplinary interest is also reflected in his degrees, further training and memberships:

Over the years, his holistic approach has enabled him to develop a concept that enables biological, sustainable and effective treatment.
